Integrate security technology easily
With the Electronic-Key-System EKS2, Euchner is launching a new key system onto the market. As a further development of the EKS system, the new generation offers advantages in terms of digital access control and operating mode selection.
Template projects with predefined functions and data fields reduce the programming effort for integration to a minimum. Requirements such as security aspects are taken into account from the outset.
Euchner relies on Profinet for communication, combined with safe semiconductor outputs. The included Profinet switch makes integration into the bus system simple. The 1-out-of-n safety outputs are connected directly to a safe control system and evaluated there. This enables operating mode selection at safety level PL e. To select the operating mode, the customer selects a project and only configures individual parameters.
