Hema Maschinen- und Apparateschutz has now developed a roller blind system especially for time-critical processes: With an optimized design of the drive, the variant achieves a 30 percent faster travel speed compared to standard versions while maintaining the same load capacity and service life.

80 m/min maximum speed

For its new TF-RS 3D roller conveyor cover, Hema uses the fastest drive in its portfolio, which works with torsion springs. These are particularly suitable for high speeds and for use with smooth-running textile and plastic belts. The roller system thus enables an extension of up to 80 m/min and an acceleration of up to 1.5 g. Thanks to a specially designed connection and bearing of the drive, the high travel speeds are not at the expense of the operating time and service life.

For applications with high protection requirements

The roller conveyor covers are suitable for all applications in which machine protection must be space-saving, quickly available and highly resilient. This primarily includes machine tools, CNC machines and machining centers. They protect linear guides, axes and components from chips and cooling lubricants, thereby significantly extending their service life. But they also protect systems and components from contamination in conveyor technology, robotics, construction, agricultural and mobile machinery. Roller conveyor covers are also an important component for occupational safety; by covering hazardous areas, they prevent unintentional intervention and reduce the risk of injury.

Variably customizable

The new roller conveyor covers are available with roller conveyor widths from 150 to 1,000 mm and pull-outs from 300 to 5,000 mm as standard as well as in individual special sizes. Thanks to various mounting options using mounting brackets or drilled holes, the roller system can be variably integrated into the production environment. Depending on the application and belt requirements, the roller conveyor cover can be fitted with or without a housing.
