Digital maintenance with AI
Synostik, an IT service provider from Oebisfelde, presented its latest tools for the intelligent maintenance, inspection and repair of industrial production facilities.
Micro AI (µAI) is a new method of artificial intelligence. It enables individual system components to process smaller tasks independently and make decisions themselves to a limited extent. Interested visitors to the stand were also able to find out more about the tried-and-tested "Maintenance Solution Line Industry". This product line comprises intelligent algorithms and tools for commissioning, inspection, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of machinery. With micro-KI, Synostik offers all companies a variant, even for beginners: instead of relying on a fully comprehensive version, the customer can gain initial positive experience with small applications within a defined framework.
On this basis, the products in use are continuously improved and additional micro-AIs can be deployed step by step. With micro-AI, individual tasks and decisions can be gradually transferred to an AI, while other processes or decisions are still carried out and made by humans. Synostik sees the use of micro-AI as a decisive milestone in breaking down barriers to the widespread use of AI in industrial companies and ultimately driving digitalization forward.
