Dassault Systèmes, together with Omron, will demonstrate how virtual twin technology simplifies the process from factory planning to operation, increases efficiency and enhances flexibility. The company underlines the relevance of virtual twin technologies and robot-based automation for the global competitiveness of industrial companies, especially against the backdrop of a shortage of skilled workers. Together with this year's exhibition partner Omron, the technology company is presenting a joint showcase that demonstrates the benefits of end-to-end digitalization on the 3D Experience platform, including the integration of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for flexible manufacturing.

Part of the showcase is the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), an administration shell designed by the Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA) to support standards-compliant data exchange in production. The interaction of the administration shell with the 3D-Experience platform will be demonstrated using the example of the flexible production plant; it is intended to optimize value chains and create new business models. This will actively promote the standardization of the digital industrial landscape. The showcase uses four stations from the production process to demonstrate a store floor with autonomous mobile robots: plant planning in the pre-sales phase, virtual commissioning, management and after-sales service.
