Jens Hunecke becomes Chief Business Officer
The Wago Group is expanding its Management Board: Jens Hunecke will take over the position of Chief Business Officer (CBO) in the Interconnection division on May 1, 2026. With this personnel decision, the global market leader for connection technology is underlining its international growth strategy in a key business area.
Hunecke brings more than two decades of experience in the electronics industry - from product development to the management of international companies. Most recently, he was CEO & President at Forvia Hella Elektronik for North and South America as well as the Corporate Center USA and a member of the Electronics Management Board.
Prior to this, he was responsible for the global components business at Forvia Hella, initially as Executive Vice President Product Center Components with product and P&L responsibility, and later as Vice President and Head of the Actuators product segment with global research, development and business development responsibility. Hunecke holds a degree in mechanical engineering.
With his extensive expertise, Hunecke will drive forward the strategic development of the Interconnection division and support Wago's international growth strategy. "Connection technology is the basis of modern infrastructure - and Wago is the global market leader in this field. Further expanding this strong position together with the global teams and actively shaping the future is an exciting task that I am very much looking forward to," says Jens Hunecke.
