Small grinder for coarse and fine grinding
According to the manufacturer, the new small grinders in the LSF-29 series from Atlas Copco Tools offer greater precision and durability as well as ease of use and individual productivity compared to their predecessor models.
Whether for coarse or fine sanding, the new LSF 29 sanders from Atlas Copco Tools are suitable for surface processing. Compared to their predecessors (LSF 28), the new 29-series sanders offer at least 20 percent more power and increased productivity - while maintaining the same ergonomics. According to the manufacturer, various optimization measures have further improved the power-to-weight ratio, which shortens processing times and reduces operating costs. The one-kilowatt vane motor of the stick sanders has an integrated speed controller that keeps the speed constantly high, even with comparatively high pressure against the workpiece. This means that the sanders work at the optimum speed and with maximum efficiency.
Design for good ergonomics
A natural posture is always the most comfortable. That's why the handle and starter must be well thought out. According to the company, the handle design and the ergonomically designed safety starter make an LSF 29 comfortable to hold and its good grip ensures safe operation. The extended E versions also have effective additional vibration damping of the spindle, which is guided by a robust triple ball bearing. The rubberized housing in the spindle area contributes to the smooth running.
The special pendulum bearing reduces the vibration values significantly below the current limit value of 2.5 m/s2 in accordance with EU Directive 2006/42/EC. This reduces the risk of vibration-related illnesses. In addition, the pendulum bearing allows milling cutters to be guided much better, which practically eliminates the "dancing" of the mounted points on the workpiece surface. The total of 17 rod and straight grinders in the LSF-29 series cover practically all areas of application in metal and material processing in different long and short housing variants and with speeds from 3,000 rpm to 25,000 rpm. as
