Product developments are brought together

OmniV breaks down the silos that arise in system-level modeling and simulation as well as domain-specific modeling and simulation. OmniV is vendor agnostic and can access multiple enterprise data structures and verification and validation methodologies - including those from third parties - to support development goals. OmniV brings together cross-domain product development activities by leveraging the MBSE methodology in a fully integrated and user-friendly tool.

Development processes become simpler

By supporting the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) - a universal modeling language for systems engineering applications across a wide range of systems and systems-of-systems - OmniV's SysML-compliant diagrams, which capture the system architecture including requirements management, structures and system behavior, can be easily shared and reviewed between product development teams. In this way, various types of digital twins can be realized more easily and earlier in the product development process, even before CAD models are created.

No need to wait for the physical prototype

The technology will be available through Altair Units. It is integrated into Altair's Digital Twin Solution Set and will be available via Altair One, Altair's Cloud Innovation Gateway.
