Digitalization and automation in the warehouse
Consistency from the warehouse to sorting
Kasto presents systems for modern intralogistics. The warehouse specialist will be demonstrating the potential of digitalization in the Smart Solutions Corner at the trade fair stand.
Visitors to the trade fair can experience what digitalization in the warehouse means live in the Smart Solutions Corner of the sawing, storage and handling technology specialist Kasto. Here, the experts will be presenting the Kastologic warehouse management system (WMS), which they have designed specifically for long goods and sheet metal storage. This enables users to control and monitor both the processes in the warehouse and the logistics and processing steps before and after in a standardized manner. Even manually operated areas can be integrated into the system using the Kastologic mobile app. The user can transmit all processes such as storage and transfer, picking, shipping and stock information to the WMS via handheld, smartphone or tablet.
Another hot topic is the space-saving and fully automated Kasto Sort Tower complete solution. It takes care of processing and sorting and operates 24/7. The developers combined reliable technologies to create a highly productive concept consisting of a chain magazine on the infeed side, a Kasto Variospeed circular saw, a Kasto Sort robot and the Kasto Ecostore tower storage system. The pallets with the sawn parts are stored there. The system is of interest to metalworking companies that already use a high-performance Kasto Variospeed or Kasto Tec saw with or without a robot. However, it is also possible to connect other Kasto saws. The tower is made smart by the Pro Control control system.
