Ball support pin

Andreas Mühlbauer,

Flexible lever solution for electromobility

With electromobility, the number of lithium-ion batteries that need to be moved, dismantled or tested during vehicle servicing, take-back campaigns or recycling is growing. However, weighing around 700 kg, these power storage units place high demands on handling.

Erwin Halder's ball lifting pins enable a quick, safe and tool-free load stop directly via existing mounting holes on battery housings and modules. They therefore ensure smooth processes throughout the entire battery life cycle and existing holes in the battery frames can be used - without conversions, without screws and without the time-consuming attachment of eyelets.

To insert the ball support pins, simply press the red push button below the shackle. This unlocks the balls at the end of the bolt and the bolt can be inserted into the existing hole. When the button is released, the balls lock automatically. This creates an immediately loadable, positive connection that can be released again by pressing the button again - without any additional tools. Assembly is completed in seconds, even in confined spaces or in boxes and racks. With a load-bearing capacity of up to 1,000 kg, the ball suspension bolts offer a secure solution for heavy loads.
