This year, Phoenix Contact is focusing on the three topics of direct current technology, efficiency in control cabinet construction and the digital factory.
Direct current technology is becoming increasingly important in times of climate change: By converting from alternating current networks to direct current networks, companies can not only reduce their energy consumption, but also reduce peak loads and integrate renewable energies and energy storage more easily. Phoenix Contact supports companies with know-how and a wide range of components when setting up DC networks.
The topic of "efficiency in enclosure construction" is also coming into focus in times of the energy transition and increasing electrification: energy distribution grids need to be expanded worldwide - including the necessary switchgear. Efficiency issues are playing an increasingly important role for the industry in order to cope with this expansion. Finally, the trade fair focus "Digital Factory" addresses another topic of the future: Digitalization is the key to increasing productivity and sustainability in industrial manufacturing.
