TGW Logistics records record order intake
TGW Logistics' order intake rose by 55 percent, exceeding the 1.5 billion euro mark for the first time in the company's history. Turnover rose slightly to 1.07 billion euros in the 2024/25 financial year.
Intralogistics specialist TGW Logistics closed the 2024/2025 financial year (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025) with record figures despite challenging economic conditions. At 1.07 billion euros, the technology company's turnover slightly exceeded the previous year's all-time high. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose significantly to 49.3 million euros, while the number of employees increased to 4,645.
"Our order intake has climbed by 55% to 1.5 billion euros - the highest figure in the company's history. This will ensure capacity utilization in production and implementation in the coming months. The operating result (EBIT) has also increased significantly, rising by 66% year-on-year to 49.3 million euros. Here we can see the positive effects of the transformation program, which we successfully completed in summer 2025," emphasizes Henry Puhl, Chief Executive Officer of TGW Logistics.
52 million euros for R&D
Investments in research and development amounted to 52.8 million euros, which corresponds to 4.9% of turnover. Innovations have been an integral part of the company's DNA since it was founded in 1969. The current focus is on mobile and stationary robotics, artificial intelligence and the possibilities of digitalization.
Employees participate financially in success
For the 2024/25 financial year, TGW Logistics is distributing a dual employee participation of 5.5 million euros - for the sixth time in total. "In the interests of transparency and fairness, all employees receive the same basic amount. Regardless of whether they work in Austria, the USA or China and regardless of their function," emphasizes Henry Puhl. "The fact that our employees can share in our success is a central element of our foundation philosophy."
As a foundation company, TGW Logistics may not be sold. Two thirds of the profits remain in the company and are invested. Another third goes to the owner, TGW Future Privatstiftung, which in turn supports the charitable projects of TGW Future Wings with at least 30 percent of the profits. The latter focus on the holistic personal development of children and young people.
Expansion of headquarters planned
The go-ahead for the expansion of the TGW headquarters in Marchtrenk was given in September 2024. Construction progress is now clearly visible and the lighthouse project is on schedule. "By summer 2026, we will have built a 16,000 m² production hall and a highly automated warehouse system - as a basis for the planned growth in the coming years. In total, we are investing around 100 million euros," says Sebastian Wolf, Chief Financial Officer of TGW Logistics. "This is not only a strong commitment to the potential of intralogistics, but above all to the location."
