Philip Harting elected to the ZVEI Executive Board
The board members of the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI) have voted: Philip Harting is now part of the select board. The CEO of the Harting Technology Group intends to further advance his commitment to electrification and digitalization.
"In Dr. Kegel, we have a determined and committed President who will lead the electrical and digital industry into the future. Our Harting products and solutions are 'electrifying ideas' that contribute to the implementation of the energy transition, digitalization in our factories and processes as well as sustainability," says Philip Harting, summarizing his motivation for the new office and continues: "I look forward to working with my colleagues on the ZVEI Executive Board."
Philip Harting has been an elected member of the ZVEI Executive Board since 2014 and Chairman of the ZVEI Electronic Components and Systems Association, which represents one of the most important and highest-turnover sectors within the electrical industry, since 2017. Harting is also a member of the ZVEI's Foreign Trade Committee. As a member of the Executive Board, which consists of the President, Vice President and other members of the Executive Board, he helps shape the guidelines of the association's policy.
The ZVEI is an important industry association in Germany. It represents the interests of a high-tech sector with a wide-ranging and dynamic product portfolio.
