Lars Magnus Berg takes over

Norma Group: new Chairman of the Supervisory Board

At the Annual General Meeting of Norma Group SE in Frankfurt am Main, the election of Dr. Stefan Wolf as Chairman of the Supervisory Board was rejected with 50.41% of the votes. As his successor, the Supervisory Board elected Lars Magnus Berg as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Berg was Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Norma Group for many years. Ms. Erika Schulte was elected as his deputy.

In addition to the existing members Lars Magnus Berg, Günter Hauptmann, Dr. Knut J. Michelberger and Erika Schulte, who were confirmed in their positions for a further five years by the Annual General Meeting, the Annual General Meeting elected Ms. Rita Forst as a new member of the Supervisory Board. With the election of Ms. Forst alongside Ms. Schulte, the target quota of at least one third of women on the Supervisory Board was achieved.

Rita Forst is an expert in the field of drive and vehicle technology and has many years of experience both as a member of the Management Board and in various management positions in global automotive companies. Her international experience and, in particular, her technical expertise in research and development at a leading global automotive company are of particular relevance for her membership of the Supervisory Board of Norma Group SE.

"We are delighted that the Norma Group has been able to recruit Rita Forst for the Supervisory Board. Ms. Forst brings valuable expertise in the technological areas that are important for the Norma Group," says Lars Magnus Berg. "We are proud to welcome such a high-caliber expert of international stature to the Supervisory Board and look forward to future exchanges."

Rita Forst succeeds Dr. Christoph Schug, who stepped down from the Supervisory Board with effect from the end of the Annual General Meeting on May 17, 2018. "All members of the Supervisory Board of Norma Group SE would like to thank both Dr. Schug and Dr. Wolf for their many years of commitment and trusting cooperation. We have always maintained a good and constructive exchange with both members on a professional and personal level. The entire Board wishes Dr. Schug and Dr. Wolf all the best and much success for their future projects," says Lars Magnus Berg. kp
