Tri-Tek started in 2000 as a distributor for Beckhoff products in South Korea. Since then, the company has been particularly active and successful in the areas of semiconductor and display manufacturing. Hans Beckhoff, managing owner of Beckhoff Automation, explains: "With Tri-Tek, we are taking over a long-standing partner with a great deal of experience, particularly in these two high-tech industries. With the direct presence as a Beckhoff subsidiary, the competent team will now also be able to successfully develop the large overall market of South Korea for our PC-based control technology beyond these special segments."

The Managing Director of Beckhoff Korea is Key Yoo, founder of Tri-Tek. The company has a total of 20 employees in the areas of sales, technology, administration and marketing. Further expansion is already planned. Key Yoo describes the advantages of the takeover as follows: "It is important for the market position that Beckhoff is present in South Korea under its own brand name. In addition, as a Beckhoff subsidiary, we are now much better equipped technically and can offer our customers significantly better service and support." as
