Micro deep hole drilling machine
Deep drilling up to 300 mm
Auerbach Maschinenfabrik has developed a new micro deep drilling machine in collaboration with the Chemnitz Institute of Mechanical and Plant Engineering (ICM).
The MTB 100 covers the diameter range from 0.5 to 3.0 mm, whereby a maximum drilling depth of 300 mm can be achieved with a diameter to length ratio of 1:100. The machine has been designed for the machining of shaft-shaped and cubic workpieces as well as for the production of deep-hole bores, hole patterns and hole circles. Machining is performed vertically. The features of the deep hole drilling machine include traverse paths of 200 mm (X-axis), 400 mm (Z-axis) and a Siemens Sinumerik 808D advanced control system.
