FPGA for industry and medical technology
Aries Embedded presents the new System-on-Module (SoM) M100PF based on the PolarFire FPGA family from Microchip.
The company is also presenting the M100PFEVP evaluation platform, which enables a quick and easy project start. The M100PF board is suitable for demanding applications in industry and medical technology. The PolarFire has a lower power consumption than other FPGAs. With the SoM, Aries adds RAM, Flash, clocking and other features to the FPGA function.
For industrial use, the SoM allows an extended temperature range of -40 to 85 °C. Other features of the 72×40 mm SoM include: 8 SerDes with 250 MBit/s to12.5 GBit/s and 2 PCI Express Gen2 slots. Prototypes can be realized with the M100PFEVP evaluation platform.
