Compact module for a wide range of applications
Advantech introduces its first x86-based SMARC (Smart Mobility Architecture) module, the SOM-2569.
It is a versatile, small form factor computer module designed for applications that require low power consumption, flexibility to increase computing power and cost control during development. The SOM-2569 is available with Intel Atom E3900, Pentium and Celeron N series processors. It measures 82 mm x 50 mm and supports up to three displays simultaneously. In addition to the multi-display function, various I/Os such as SATA, USB 3.0/2.0, COM port, SMBus and I2C are also supported. The module is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well as dual 1000Base-T interfaces. The board offers two LAN controllers, for example to support two RJ45 ports.
