Together with system partner Klocke Engineering, Yaskawa is presenting a new training cell and a modular robot cell for palletizing workpieces on CNC machining centers at Nortec.
Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) generated an annual turnover of ten million euros in 2017. The Danish company thus fulfilled its ambitious goal of tripling its turnover in 2017 and is Denmark's fastest growing robotics manufacturer.

Fanuc has introduced the M-20iB/25C, a cleanroom-compatible robot. The white-painted robot is suitable for use in a cleanroom environment or in the 2nd food area.

The basic design of the new, four-axis palletizing robot M-410iC/110 from Fanuc is based on the successful M-410i model series. Thanks to its special kinematics, the four-axis robot is predestined for use in confined workspaces.
New suppliers are increasingly entering the electric vehicle market, especially in China. Dürr is building a fully automated paint shop for a local OEM. The plant in Hefei is designed for a capacity of 100,000 units per year and is scheduled to go into operation in June 2018.

Harrison Manufacturing, a manufacturer of custom plastic injection molded parts, uses the Sawyer collaborative robot from Rethink Robotics in its Jackson, Mississippi facility. The cobot took over ergonomically demanding tasks and thus increased production throughput.

Motors in robotics must be lightweight and deliver a high torque at the same time. Only then can arms and grippers be moved dynamically. However, DC motors cannot always be optimally integrated into a structure, and standard solutions reach their limits.

Freely programmable loader mechanism
Hirata has further developed its AST series palletizers. It is now possible to process pallets with the same size and the same outer contour, but different heights, in a mix without retooling.
