Trade fair duo takes place purely digitally in 2021

Virtual exhibitor showroom, online specialist program and digital networking: The trade fair duo Intec and Z will take place exclusively digitally from 2 to 4 March 2021 under the motto "Intec and Z connect".

This decision was made by Leipziger Messe as the organizer. The current pandemic situation and the associated restrictions make it impossible to reliably plan an on-site or hybrid event.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Intec and Z connect offer the German metalworking and supplier industry a platform to facilitate dialog within the sector and provide impetus for the future. At the heart of the event will be a product show by exhibitors in the form of a virtual showroom, an online congress and a digital networking platform. Leipziger Messe is currently working on the program, which is dedicated to current and burning issues in the industry.

"Due to the current pandemic situation and the associated restrictions, it is unfortunately not possible to hold Intec and Z as a successful face-to-face event. We very much regret this, but we are also aware of the great importance of the trade fair network for the entire industry. With the digital format, we can simultaneously meet the needs of our partners, exhibitors and trade visitors and ensure the protection of everyone involved," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.

Details of the Intec and Z connect program will be announced in the coming weeks. The next regular edition of Intec and Z in its proven form will take place from March 7 to 10, 2023.
