The wrist transmitter from Sarissa is part of the ultrasound-based assistance system Local Positioning System (LPS). As part of Industry 4.0, spatial position data is determined for quality assurance in the areas of assembly, order picking and packaging.
The new generation of the HGM2 position sensor is robust, comfortable to wear and easy to charge, summarizes the manufacturer. The transmitter weighs just 50 grams and can be attached to the worker's wrist using a size-adjustable strap with Velcro fastener. In addition, the transmitter can be activated by an integrated tilt switch, eliminating the need for mechanical actuators. Thanks to its long-life lithium-ion battery, the wrist marker can function for up to 14 hours. An LED display visualizes its battery status, and the battery is charged inductively by simply placing the HGM2 on the charger. as
