New series of adsorption dryers
Dry compressed air even more efficiently
Atlas Copco presents its new CD 25-260+ series. It dries a volume flow of 25 to 260 liters of compressed air per second (l/s). It is suitable for users who want to remove moisture from their compressed air particularly efficiently in order to protect equipment, products and processes.
The CD dryers in the Plus series pay for themselves in the long term thanks to their low purge air requirement. Compared to the predecessor models, the special design of this series reduces the pressure loss by 25 percent. Filters are integrated for even greater reliability, such as the highly efficient UD+ pre-filter. This high-performance filter removes solid particles, liquid water and oil aerosols, which increases the service life of the dryer. And the built-in DDp+ afterfilter protects the compressed air network from dust particles. The purge air requirement is slightly higher for these variants. These dryers work very reliably. According to the company, the defined pressure dew point is maintained even at 100 percent capacity without increasing the purge air requirement. According to the manufacturer, this is an advantage over other common dryers on the market. A constant pressure dew point of -20 °C or -40 °C (also -70 °C for the Plus version) is standard. The pressure dew point can be adjusted seasonally or for different applications. sw
