Soldersmart
Soldering at the table
The Soldersmart is a multifunctional benchtop soldering robot from Elmotec that is suitable for two to three-shift operation. The production process is process-monitored, documented and traceable.
Thanks to its simple installation and compact design, the Soldersmart fits into practically any production facility, the manufacturer promises. A simple 230-volt mains connection is sufficient; compressed air is not required. The benchtop soldering robot has a portal axis system consisting of four electric axes (X/Y/Z and one rotary axis). The soldering iron has an additional fifth axis, which allows the soldering iron to approach the soldering points in a path/force-controlled manner. The precise wire feed with a monitored accuracy of 0.1 millimetres should also ensure process reliability. This wire feed is part of the soldering head. Solder rolls weighing up to 500 grams can be mounted.
A Windows PC is integrated into the Soldersmart. According to the manufacturer, the user interface can be operated without much prior knowledge. As a master controller, the PC saves all relevant soldering data such as heating time, temperature curve and feed length either locally on the computer or on a server. This ensures traceable process reliability. The process data can be evaluated using familiar software tools such as the Office palette. The devices have a cleaning unit with stainless steel brushes and a preparation for solder fume extraction as standard.
