Moulding Expo
Virtual Innovation Day provides access to trade fair highlights
On June 10, Moulding Expo will host the Virtual Innovation Day with the highlights of the program originally planned for the presence trade fair. The next regular MEX will take place in 2023.
With the Virtual Innovation Day on 10 June 2021, the Moulding Expo team is organizing a first targeted measure on the way to the next physical trade fair for tool, pattern and mould making in 2023. Compactly bundled into five lecture slots, the trade fair managers from the industry will open the highlights from the supporting and lecture program originally planned for 2021. The German-language online platform is accessible free of charge.
It is being organized in coordination with and with the support of the trade fair partners, BVMF, VDMA Precision Tools, VDW, VDWF, ISTMA World and WBA Aachener Werkzeugbau Akademie. In addition, many other industry leaders are supporting the lecture event as sponsors or speakers. Registration is possible via the trade fair website.
The lecture program includes the following topics:
- The European tool, pattern and mold making industry in transition: status quo, challenges and outlook
- Road of Tooling Innovation: Insights into the tooling and production concepts of the future
- Innovative manufacturing strategies in tool, pattern and mold making
- SCHOOLTOOL - A new approach to training and further education!
- Tooling around the world: Country portraits and reports from international markets
The regular Moulding Expo trade fair was canceled for this year in March 2021. The trade fair advisory board, which includes exhibiting companies such as DMG Mori, Meusburger and Deckerform, as well as the conceptual and technical sponsors BVMF, VDMA Precision Tools, VDW and VDWF, were forced by the situation to decide against holding the trade fair in June 2021. The next regular Moulding Expo will take place at Messe Stuttgart from June 13 to 16, 2023. Until the very end, Messe Stuttgart, as the organizer, tried to make it possible for the European tool, pattern and mould making industry and its suppliers to continue their wish for the much-loved and important physical industry get-together. In addition, the Road of Tooling Innovation was added to the supporting program as a further highlight and the trade fair profile was further sharpened with a revised forum concept and the WBA Aachener Werkzeugbau Akademie as a new partner.
The organizers of Moulding Expo now want to stage a first targeted measure on the way to Moulding Expo 2023 with the Virtual Innovation Day on 10 June 2021. The aim is to make the highlights from the supporting and lecture program planned for 2021 accessible internationally and free of charge - despite the cancellation of the physical trade fair date.
