Sandvik Coromant is expanding its range of high-performance taps.

Both the next generation of CoroTap 200, a straight-fluted tap with a peel cut, and the new version of CoroTap 300, a spiral-fluted tap, are suitable for machining ISO-P materials. They offer improved process reliability and longer tool life. The taps optimized for use in steel materials are suitable for the series production of components in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries.

The CoroTap 200 is suitable for through holes where the chips are pushed to the front. The CoroTap 300 is ideal for blind holes where the chips are transported to the rear. The new versions from Sandvik Coromant have a new surface treatment and a revised edge rounding.
