Sales growth and future investments in anniversary year

In the past 2025 financial year, the Wago Group achieved an eight percent increase in turnover compared to the previous year. The company is also expanding its product portfolio and entering the smart home market.

The Wago Group can report positive sales trends at the end of the 2025 financial year: The provider of connection and automation technology as well as interface electronics has increased its total turnover from 1.24 billion euros in 2024 to 1.34 billion euros in 2025. This corresponds to growth of eight percent compared to the previous year.

"The 2025 financial year shows that Wago is generating growth even under challenging market conditions - through the responsible use of resources and targeted investments in future technologies. Our anniversary year 2026 is also an incentive for us to shape the next 75 years with the same innovative strength as the previous ones," says Jürgen Koopsingraven, CEO/CFO of Wago.

The strongest sales driver for the Group was the electrical connection technology business. Automation technology recorded the strongest relative growth. Successful national and international projects in building automation, building installation and the data center sector contributed significantly to the good result in the past financial year 2025.

Germany remains the strongest single market, accounting for 25% of sales - but the company is also growing internationally: the other European markets together contribute 44% to total sales, while the global markets outside Europe account for 31%. Compared to the previous financial year, the distribution of sales has therefore shifted slightly towards the international growth regions.

The Wago Group has invested 125 million euros in the global expansion of capacities in order to secure its sustainable growth course. The family-owned company is making more than half of these investments locally in Germany, where a new, modern logistics center has been completed at the Sondershausen site. With its highly automated storage area of 11,000 square meters, the high-bay warehouse is a clear commitment to Germany and Thuringia as a 'gateway to the world'. Another focal point, accounting for 32 percent of the investment volume, is Europe: Wago is expanding its production capacities at the Swiss site in Domdidier with a new plastic injection molding plant in order to further strengthen its European presence.

"With these investments, we are creating the infrastructure to be able to meet global demand more efficiently and reliably. At the same time, these strategic decisions not only increase our operational efficiency within Europe, but also strengthen our proximity to our customers and enable faster, localized solutions," emphasizes Jürgen Koopsingraven.

A special development in the anniversary year 2026 is the market launch of 'Wago Home Automation'. With this new portfolio of flush-mounted wireless modules for the smart control of lighting, blinds and sockets, for example, the family-owned company is entering the smart home market. The new product series is VDE-certified, meets the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act and combines secure networking with easy handling, both for electrical professionals and end customers: The use of spring clamp technology and tool-free lever technology, for example, makes installation quick and uncomplicated. Sales of the new product line will start in German-speaking countries in May 2026, and the Wago Home Dimmer will be available from summer 2026.
