When it comes to security, video technology is essential. The market is growing rapidly and the technology has developed considerably in recent years. Major advances have been made in storage technology on the one hand and in artificial intelligence on the other, accompanied by innovations in digital image processing. As a result, video technology is increasingly becoming a central component of companies' IT and security strategies, enabling savings and optimizations and opening up new fields of application.

Ensure high resolution

Dallmeier offers stand-alone systems as well as complete video technology solutions through to large-scale projects with perfectly coordinated components. The Panomera multifocal sensor system, for example, was developed for the comprehensive protection of large areas and allows the display of areas with large distances in high resolution at frame rates of up to 30 fps. The system can be used to cover a large area and the resolution can be scaled according to customer requirements.

The absence of particles is essential when assembling the highly sensitive camera components, and many sensor suppliers even recommend at least cleanroom class 6. For this reason, the Dallmeier management decided to install a cleanroom directly on the new production lines at the Regensburg plant at the beginning of 2017. In addition to typical cleanroom sizes, the concept also included the requirement for the best possible ergonomic working conditions. Dallmeier found a suitable implementation partner in Spetec, which also proved to be ideal for this due to its close proximity.

Dirt particles locked out

The cleanroom cell, measuring 8.70 x 3.87 m, consists of aluminum fixed elements and viewing windows as well as sliding doors for the personnel airlock and a single-leaf door. In addition to the air conditioning system, six laminar flow modules for air filtration in the "Susi super silent" version were installed to ensure the best possible working conditions at the four work and assembly stations. The installed FMS laminar flow modules from Spetec use a type H14 filter with a filtration efficiency of 99.995 percent and an isolation factor of¹⁰⁴. This reduces the particle concentration within the unit from around 15 million/m3 ^toaround 1,500 ^particles/m3.

The installation also includes a particle measuring device, a material airlock with compressed air cleaning at a work table with an extraction system and an extra flow box in the airlock for pre-cleaning. In this way, cleanroom class ISO 5 can be stably achieved even with full staffing, which is checked and documented daily. This guarantees the highest level of cleanliness when the sensor boards and lenses of the various camera types are screwed together in an airtight manner. Founder and CEO Dieter Dallmeier is thoroughly satisfied with the cleanroom supplier Spetec.
