Pressure switch
A switch for less CO2
Layher has developed a pressure switch that reduces CO2 emissions thanks to its low weight.
The new type 402 pressure switch from Layher is a diaphragm switch designed as a normally open and normally closed contact for liquid and gaseous media. It is adjustable under pressure and has a wrench width of 24 millimetres. It has been developed for precise control and monitoring tasks. With pressure setting ranges of 0.3 to two bar and one to ten bar, both versions are designed with an overload limit of 300 bar. They can be used in an ambient temperature range of minus 40 to plus 85 degrees Celsius.
This means that the Type 402 has everything under control, even in tough and extreme working conditions. All this with lower emissions, thanks to less weight. According to the manufacturer, every gram of CO2 counts in today's industry. That is why reducing the weight of parts is so important. The weight of the Type 402 pressure switch has been reduced by almost a third compared to comparable pressure switches in this performance class. At the same time, an increase in performance was achieved. Matching accessories, such as a plastic protective box or a rubber protective cap, can be combined for the end user. as
