Filter housing
Filtration and sound attenuation in circuits
In liquid or air circuits, filter housings and silencers protect measuring devices, ensure particle-free vacuum and pneumatic systems, keep cooling circuits clean and reduce noise.
The plastic WTP filter housings from Wolftechnik are small, robust and flexible for use in industrial production. Equipped with filter elements made of porous polyethylene (PE) or with reusable stainless steel sieve elements, the miniature housings offer high filtration performance and ensure reliable cleanliness in the process. In addition to their use in liquid circuits, they also ensure reliable filtration performance and smooth operation in vacuum and pneumatic systems. Here they play a decisive role in ensuring particle-free control systems - for example vacuum grippers for handling systems and robotics.
A particle-free air supply is crucial to ensure that the vacuum systems function smoothly. In these applications, the WTP filter systems ensure that impurities such as dust or particles are effectively separated. This protects the sensitive control components and vacuum pumps, increases process reliability, reduces maintenance costs and ensures smooth operation of the systems.
In liquid circuits, WTP filter systems are used as protective filters for analysis and measuring devices, as fine filters in cooling circuits, as sieve filters for small throughput quantities and as final filters before filling. They are also suitable as suction filters upstream of pumps, police filters for monitoring dirt loads and bypass filters for visual inspection prior to discharge.
WTP filter housings are available in sizes from 1/8" to 3/4" internal thread and offer flexible connection options. The filter elements are available in various filter finenesses from 5 to 300 µm and are easy to clean or replace. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar at 20 °C, the operating temperature up to 50 °C at 4 bar.
Quiet and efficient silencers
In addition to the filter housings, the Porex silencers complete the product portfolio for industrial production. Made of porous PE, they ensure a balance between noise reduction and pressure reduction in pneumatic systems. Their porous structure allows for a low weight, which facilitates handling. In addition, the silencers enable effective separation of particles and aerosols and are easy to install. The Porex silencers reliably reduce the noise level and ensure fine regulation of the air flow - even at a maximum operating air pressure of 10 bar and temperatures of up to 100 °C.
