Practical solutions
Two new tools from Schunk enable the validated design and individual configuration of linear modules. In the new Schunk Control Center, customers will be able to access comprehensive digital modules in the future.
For example, the parameters of electric grippers can be optimally set using software before commissioning. Schunk is also designing new production steps in e-mobility and electronics with customized automation solutions. This can be seen in the example of the RCG round cell gripper for the flexible handling of battery cells. The gripper can be expanded into multiple gripping units as required and, in combination with the dynamic linear direct axes, enables reliable high-speed applications. Schunk also makes its products available as digital twins for system simulation.
