Miniature shut-off valve
Use in clinical laboratory equipment
Emerson has introduced the Asco Series 062 toggle shut-off valve, designed for fluid control valve islands in clinical laboratories.
The compact size of the 16 mm valves allows easy integration into complex fluid handling valve islands, reducing space, weight and power consumption. The valve also offers 2-way and 3-way functions.
The shut-off valves allow the control of neutral and aggressive liquids. The easy-to-flush toggle mechanism, in combination with a separating diaphragm, prevents the transfer of heat to the reagents and eliminates the potential for sticking and clogging of the valve seat. The hermetic separation of the control mechanism prevents particulate contamination caused by the friction of moving parts.
