Flexible coating system

At EMO, the coating experts from Cemecon will be demonstrating the potential their technology offers in both existing and new machining markets. The CC800 HiPIMS coating system combines advantages that previously required different coating processes or even several systems.

The new system offers deposition rates of 2 µm/h, up to 5 batches with different coating specifications in a single day, coating thicknesses from 1 to 12 µm and, among other things, open editor software. The company will also be demonstrating it on site at the coating center in Würselen and at Cemecon branches worldwide or as an online event. At EMO, Cemecon will be demonstrating how materials of the future can be successfully machined - including coating materials for machining hardened steel for injection molds, for milling sintered carbide for molds and punches or for thread production in steel, aluminum and cast iron.
