The rectangular suction cups pick up the six-pack at three points. A load support prevents the carton from being pulled into the suction cups. The gripper is manufactured using 3D printing and can therefore be easily adapted to different six-pack sizes. In addition to the rectangular suction cups, the gripper also contains coaxial vacuum ejectors. This ensures additional safety during handling. If one ejector fails, the six-pack is still held by the other two. The Piab gripper is equipped with an automatic blow-off pulse to enable quick depositing.
