Function for heavy-duty connectors
With the new Heavycon HC-M-MWF contact insert modules for industrial connectors, Phoenix Contact offers extensive functionality for field cabling.
The modular contact inserts have a function slot and a separation zone. This enables, for example, potential bridging or power protection directly at the application. The modules make it possible to move the functionality from the control cabinet to the field. The multifunctional separation zone and the double function slot are features of the 5-pole contact inserts.
Individual potential distribution is made possible by jumpers. The disconnect zone offers flexible use of fuse, component and disconnect plugs. Push-in technology enables safe and tool-free conductor connection from 0.14 to 2.5 mm².
