Rutronik and Molex: Distribution agreement for UK and Ireland

Rutronik has become Molex's distribution partner for the UK and Ireland, expanding its offering to include the specialist's portfolio of connectivity, antennas and RF solutions, which are playing an increasingly important role in the implementation of modern IoT solutions. The decisive factor in Molex's decision was Rutronik's outstanding expertise in design and application engineering. The contract applies to the entire portfolio.

Rutronik and Molex: Distribution agreement for UK and Ireland

Building on the close relationship that already exists between the companies in other European countries, Rutronik will take over the distribution rights for Molex in the UK and Ireland from April 1st. The addition of the extensive Molex range of interconnect and related products will complement Rutronik's existing product range in the UK and Ireland and provide customers with access to even more targeted design and procurement support.

"We are extremely impressed with Rutronik's FAE and sales teams in the UK and Ireland. Their market knowledge and contacts encompass not only the usual environment, but also many new and exciting companies that can benefit from the Molex product range. In addition, Rutronik's FAE team is well qualified to support customers throughout the design and development process," said Darren Fairs, UK Distribution Manager for Molex.

Markus Krieg, Managing Director of Marketing at Rutronik, added: "Molex is a major global player whose range perfectly complements our existing portfolio in the UK. Given our collaboration with other companies that we support in marketing their IoT products, the addition of further wired or wireless connectivity solutions to our existing technology offering will prove invaluable." kp
