Innovation, efficiency, precision and flexibility in industrial production: in the INDUSTRIAL Production Products of the Year 2026 competition, we are presenting 33 outstanding solutions in six categories. As a reader, you can now choose your favorites.
In the INDUSTRIAL Production Products of the Year 2026 competition, we honor technological innovations that make industrial production more efficient, precise and flexible. The most advanced solutions compete against each other in six categories: Drive technology, automation, digitalization and networking, energy technology and electromechanics, sensor technology and image processing, robotics, handling and assembly technology as well as metalworking and machine tools.
The nominated products demonstrate, among other things, how powerful drives optimize motion sequences, intelligent automation systems network processes and digital platforms facilitate planning, simulation and control. Energy-efficient systems ensure a stable supply, data analysis increases resource efficiency, while sensor technology, image processing and robotics increase precision, quality and safety in production. Tool systems, hybrid machines and automated manufacturing solutions combine speed, flexibility and high process stability - from individual parts to large series.
The range of topics submitted this year is therefore once again very broad. A total of 33 ingenious products and solutions have been nominated, which we present in detail on the following pages. You, dear readers, are invited to cast your vote: Which innovation impresses with its high utility value, which solution impresses with its simplicity or particularly creative implementation? As last year, the editorial team of INDUSTRIAL Production will award the special prize "Artificial intelligence in industrial production" for intelligent, adaptive applications from among all nominations.
How the readers' choice works
Voting takes place online at www.industrial-production.de/leserabstimmung.htm, where we present all the nominations in detail once again. The readers' poll will run until January 31, 2026, and the winners will receive their awards at a ceremony on March 5, 2026. We will present the winners in detail in the first issues of 2026 and online at the same time.
