Spectra takes over Compmall
Spectra, a provider in the industrial PC and automation sector, has acquired the Munich-based company Compmall. With the integration of the industrial PC specialist, which has been established on the market since 1993, the company is expanding its portfolio in a targeted manner.
Compmall is known as a technology partner for industrial PC solutions and focuses on individual customer solutions. With a wide range of industrial PC components and systems from leading manufacturers, the company has developed long-standing customer relationships in the mechanical and plant engineering, automation technology, building automation and many other technical sectors. According to Specta, the long-standing customer relationships and the comprehensive product range are a strong addition to Spectra's existing offering.
As part of the takeover, Albin Markwardt, former Managing Director of Compmall, will take over as Head of Business Development at Spectra. With his 25 years of experience in key account and project management, he will make a significant contribution to the further development of Spectra's market strategy.
"With the integration of Compmall, we are not only strengthening our technological expertise, but also our presence in strategically important sectors," explains Klaus Rottmayr, Managing Director of Spectra. "We are significantly expanding our future viability and innovative strength through this acquisition."
The acquisition is a further step in the expansion strategy to consolidate Spectra's market position as a partner for customized industrial PC solutions in automation.
