Arnold expands the management team
Equipped for the future on the anniversary
July 1, 2024 marked the 30th anniversary of Prof. Dr. h. c. Reinhold Würth's decision to take over the screw production of the L&C Arnold Group at the Forchtenberg-Ernsbach site and integrate it into the Würth Group. In order to meet the various challenges in the individual areas and to lead Arnold successfully into the future, the Management Board was expanded from July 1, 2024.
As CEO, Managing Director Dirk Döllner will continue to be responsible for strategic corporate management as well as the HR & Organization, IT, Purchasing and Finance & Controlling support processes. He will now be supported on the Management Board by Mario Metzger (Chief Marketing Officer), Thorsten Lienhardt-Schuster (COO Fastening Systems), Lukas Schmieg (COO Functional Components) and Bernd Weidner (COO Fastening Solutions).
Today, the Group employs almost 1,500 people and generated global sales of 300 million euros in 2023. The company's strategic focus areas are New Mobility, Future of Work, digitalization, sustainability and internationalization.
30 years of Würth integration celebrated
The successful development of the company was acknowledged at a kick-off event for various activities relating to the anniversary at the end of June 2024 at the Rauhbusch plant, which was attended by representatives of the Würth Group, including Robert Friedmann (Chairman of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group), Rolf Bauer (Honorary Member of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group), Alois Wimmer (Head of Production at the Würth Group) and Michael Dartsch (Head of Screw Production at the Würth Group), as well as the Arnold management and the Works Council. "Arnold enjoys the highest reputation in the Würth Group. The modern spirit and the ability to react flexibly to changes in the market environment are decisive for this success," says Robert Friedmann.
Positioned for the future
Important measures were taken as part of the continuous strategy process in order to secure future positive development. These include the reorganization of customer management, the definition of the three business units (Fastening Solutions, Functional Components and Fastening Systems) and the optimization of support processes. The aim of this organization is to more than double turnover by 2033 in a challenging market environment.
