For manual welding of steel
Fronius Perfect is expanding its TPS/i welding machine platform with the Steel Edition version, which has been designed for manual welding of steel.
The modular welding machines have different steel characteristics for both standard and pulsed arcs. This means that welding work on steel is possible from a material thickness of just 1 mm.
The company highlights the so-called PCS (Pulse Controlled Spray Arc) characteristic as a special feature. Its advantage lies particularly in the transition arc range: the smooth transition from the pulse arc to the spray arc results in significantly less welding spatter. The characteristic also ensures a focused arc, which guarantees a deep penetration profile.
