Fixing aid for hybrid bonding
Strong grip on smooth surfaces
Weicon has developed a special adhesive tape that can be used on its own or in combination with adhesives and sealants as a fixing aid for hybrid bonding.
The grey mounting tape offers a strong hold on smooth surfaces, has a load-bearing capacity of 85 kilograms per meter and can be used for permanent bonding both indoors and outdoors. The adhesive tape has a temperature resistance of minus 40 to 120 degrees Celsius and is UV and moisture resistant. With hybrid bonding, the components to be bonded are attached using two materials, an adhesive and an adhesive tape.
The adhesive tape is used to securely position the component to be bonded until the adhesive, which is intended to permanently fix the part, has hardened and developed its full adhesive strength. With this type of bonding, the adhesive tape therefore serves as an aid for fixing the component to be bonded. as
