Mobile robotics from Kuka

Production moves

The days of static production facilities and lines are over: at Logimat, visitors to the Kuka stand will be immersed in the world of mobile robotics.

The international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management offers a stage for interlocking automation solutions. Kuka will also be there, presenting mobile robotics, including a world premiere - the KMP 3000P mobile platform transports up to three tons. Its omnidirectional travel concept ensures maximum flexibility and high precision. The platform is always ready thanks to its inductive charging principle, which enables flexible charging during the process - without wear and tear. The platform can be controlled with the appropriate KMReS (Kuka Mobile Robot expert System) software, an intelligent, AI-based and easy-to-use fleet management system. In addition, the standard communication interface VDA 5050 ensures the greatest possible compatibility of the AMR with different control systems.

Under the motto "Feel the Flow of Automation - AMR by Kuka", a mobile work platform will also be making an appearance. The mobile robot KMR iisy combines the mobility of an AMR and the versatility of a collaborative robot. It consists of the Cobot LBR iisy, optionally with a payload of 11 or 15 kg, and a platform that can carry an additional load of up to 200 kg. The mobile robot moves precisely and safely through the room and can be used flexibly at various workstations - in assembly, intralogistics and as a robot service system.
