Clamp holder

Mara Hofacker,

Fixation for all situations

Ganter is expanding its range of clamping brackets with new elements for fixing system-specific components. The company is constantly revising its product selection in order to adapt it to usage.

For example, while many users previously used the GN 475 twistable cross clamp holder to arrange fixing rods in parallel, Ganter developed the GN 474.1 clamp holder with two parallel clamping holes based on this observation. The new GN 480.3 and GN 480.5 holding rods made of stainless steel also contribute to simplification, as their offset or angled shape saves the time-consuming combination of straight elements.

Thanks to its grommet, the GN 480.7 hose adapter allows the direct connection of hoses on one side and the thread-based installation of an outlet nozzle on the other. According to the company, this allows lubricants, coolants or blow-out air to be transported even better to the relevant points in a system.

Also new in the clamp holder range: T, base and simple bracket clamp holders can be assembled into freely configurable clamp holder joints using bracket joint sets GN 511.1. To do this, the joint set centers and connects the two bracket clamp holders pivotably using a screw or adjustable clamping lever.

All clamp holders of a nominal size can be fitted with the same tool, and the fixing and clamping holes also have identical dimensions. This means that changes can be made without having to drill new holes. Ganter goes one step further with the GN 51.6 holding magnet, which makes drilling completely obsolete.

Integrated threads establish the connection to various clamp holders - making the rubberized magnet suitable for temporary installations on sensitive surfaces.
