Kasto promised a world first for its trade fair appearance at the EMO in Hanover. The sawing and storage technology specialist presented a fully automated system for pre-processing.

At Schweissen & Schneiden, Kemper presented solutions for all aspects of welding fume extraction, including the second generation of the Maxifil Clean extraction unit with a self-cleaning filter and the Vacufil 4000 for centralized high-vacuum extraction.

Microstep showed 2D and 3D cutting solutions in action on sheet metal, tubes, profiles and container bases, including bevel cutting with plasma or waterjet and dynamic fiber laser cutting, as well as drilling, milling and marking demonstrations.

At the Schweissen & Schneiden trade fair in Essen, Trumpf presented a robot for arc welding that calculates its own welding path. This is made possible by a smart sensor that automatically determines the welding points.

Yaskawa came to Schweissen & Schneiden with the entire spectrum of robot-based welding. This year, the focus was on turnkey systems from the company's own European system construction.

In Essen, Kuka presented robots in various payload classes that are capable of spot and TIG welding, MIG/MAG welding, laser and laser hybrid welding as well as friction stir welding (FSW).
