WD-40 is responding to market developments in recent years and is meeting customer needs with the introduction of the 400 ml Smart Straw can.
Following in-depth market research analyses, there is a trend towards smaller can sizes that can meet customer needs even better. The previously available 300 and 500 ml Smart Straw cans are being replaced and the product range slimmed down in order to be even more target group-oriented.
The new can is characterized by the Smart Straw spray system, which offers additional benefits for commercial users. The spray tube can no longer get lost, and the Smart Straw spray head also offers the option of spraying over a wide area or with pinpoint accuracy. These advantages provide retailers with additional sales opportunities.
For eye-catching positioning at the POS, the 400 ml Smart Straw cans will be available to specialist retailers in eye-catching 24 or 6-pack displays from February. One particular advantage is the new production method, which in future will completely dispense with plastic wrapping. The display is supplied closed and, thanks to the perforated sides, can be easily opened and placed as an eye-catching header on the shelf or counter.
