3M introduces electronic earplugs
Hearing protection solutions effectively shield against external noise sources - even those that the wearer should be more aware of for safety reasons. The new 3M Peltor LEP-200 and TEP-200 electronic earplugs fulfill both requirements in one: they protect hearing and at the same time improve situational awareness and communication in demanding areas of operation. Audio signals can also be received wirelessly via the optional 3M PELTOR TEP-LOOP 200 neckband.
Thanks to the state-of-the-art level-dependent function, the LEP-200 and TEP-200 earplugs attenuate noise at high levels. At the same time, they ensure that weak sounds cannot be ignored in quiet environments.
The advanced level-dependent technology, secure fit and simple operation make the LEP-200 compact hearing protection for a wide range of applications, for example in industry or the construction sector. The lithium-ion battery enables long continuous operation and can then be recharged in the standard transport case via a USB port. The active earplugs are not only switched on or off with just one button, but the volume can also be adjusted in three stages. sw
