Miniature ball screws
Precise movement with cylindrical single nut
Precise and reliable ball screw drives from Bosch Rexroth are used in numerous industries. The company is now expanding its miniature series to include cylindrical single nuts, which are low-maintenance and guarantee a long service life.
The new single nuts are used in ready-to-install PSK precision modules and wherever precise linear movements are required in small to very small installation spaces. They are designed for spindles with diameters of 6 and 8 millimetres and offer pitches between 1 and 5 millimetres.
The cylindrical single nut therefore also meets the high precision requirements in industries such as medical and semiconductor technology. Thanks to the new, flangeless design, it has a compact design that allows it to be used in confined spaces. In daily use, users benefit from long relubrication intervals and maximum reliability. The smooth running of the nut guarantees absolute precision, the supplier promises.
The new series complements Rexroth's product portfolio of miniature ball screws. These offer nominal diameters of 6 to 12 millimetres and leads of 1 to 10 millimetres. Thanks to the principle of internal total deflection, the miniature ball screws enable smooth operation. The innovative removal of the balls from the raceway ensures particularly smooth running. Together with the miniature ball rail guides, the ball screws provide optimum conditions for all applications that require small sizes and a high load capacity.
The Linear Motion Designer (LMD) calculation program supports users in the selection and design of the screw drive.
