The focus must be right
In laser material marking, manual handling of the parts to be processed means time-consuming loading and set-up times as well as strenuous work for the operator.
This is where the Robotic workstation from ACI Laser can help. The handling system consists of a laser marking station and integrated robot arm and enables the automatic handling and marking of different components in a single pass. Optimized processes and consistent processing results are the goal.
The Auto Focus plug-in automatically focuses the laser beam on the object to be marked; the working distance is always set optimally. This means that components made of different materials with different part heights or varying manufacturing tolerances are marked with repeat accuracy. Focusing also ensures precise results for annealing or black markings.
