The Motoman MPX1150 compact robot was specially developed for painting small workpieces. The more powerful Motoman MPX2600 is particularly suitable for industrial coating applications, for example for painting very small parts. When developing the MPX series, the focus was on optimum use of space and high working speed combined with ease of operation. For example, both the Motoman MPX1150 and the Motoman MPX2600 painting robots work without offset on the S/L axis. This design not only enables efficient use of the area under the robot arm, but also installation close to the workpiece.

Despite its very compact layout, the Motoman MPX1150 has a payload capacity of five kilograms. With this strength, the robot is able to operate various spray guns. Its reach of 1,156 millimetres vertically and 727 millimetres horizontally offers a wide range of possible applications. The repeat accuracy of the Motoman MPX1150 of plus/minus 0.02 millimetres guarantees the highest painting quality. sw
