Picks up little things
IAI Industrieroboter has expanded its range of freely programmable electric grippers for pneumatic automation. This includes a two-point lifting magnet gripper for small parts assembly and a long-stroke gripper for large workpieces.
The electric two-point lifting magnet gripper is available in two versions: the smallest version enables maximum gripping forces of ten newtons and the larger version 20 newtons. Both versions have a four millimeter stroke with dead weights of 160 and 270 grams respectively. These modules only require one cable for the power supply and sensor signals. These electric grippers take just 0.03 seconds to open and close. They are used wherever delicate small parts need to be picked up and moved safely and in an energy-saving manner. pb
