Cutting performance
Longer service life
Wikus has succeeded in setting standards in the sawmill industry by introducing a state-of-the-art process design in the manufacture of some bimetal products. The saw blade manufacturer's new production process results in a longer service life for all products thanks to reduced mechanical friction, less need for reworking thanks to improved cutting surfaces and lower noise emissions during sawing.
The user benefits from savings in cutting costs and thus from an increase in the productivity of their sawing processes. Vario M42, for example, with its variable tooth pitch and zero-degree cutting angle, is a universally applicable band saw blade for small cross-sections and profiles. Proflex M42 and Proflex SW M42 are characterized by their profile tooth; they are used for profiles and beams as well as the interrupted cutting channel. Wikus is also presenting Selekta GS Premium M42, which is used for cutting solid materials and metals with a tensile strength of up to 1,400 newtons per square millimeter. When using the product, the special coating in the area of the patented power and surface teeth as well as the back of the band enables maximum cutting performance. In addition, the product aims to impress with its increased service life and low-vibration, smooth running. pb
