Supervisory Board bids farewell to Hans Werner Reinhard
Hans Werner Reinhard will officially bid farewell in coordination with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Lord Mayor Thomas Geisel, at the meeting of the company's Supervisory Board on September 27, 2019, and resign from his functions within the Messe Düsseldorf Group as of September 30, 2019.
Since 2014, Hans Werner Reinhard has been responsible for the Corporate Development and Market Research departments as well as the world's leading trade fairs boot, drupa, Energy Storage Europe, EuroShop and EuroCIS, interpack - components for processing and packaging and the global ProWein product family.
Reinhard had already informed the Supervisory Board at the end of June that he would be leaving the company for personal reasons. Reinhard and his family are moving the center of their lives to southern Germany. His wife is the seventh generation to take over responsibility for her father's family-run company. He will support his wife in this role and pursue a new career.
